@Oldsmobility455 I do believe the UFC is deeper, they have the funds to bring in the best. I just think the gap between the best of strikeforce/dream and the UFC is alot smaller than alot think. I wouldn't write off Overeem vs any fighter in the world. His strandup is K1 level, no-one in the UFC's is. Strikeforce has some good HW's but alot of theirs are pretty average. Bigfoot,rogers and arlovski are overated

@Oldsmobility455 Werdum is a top 10 HW but will never be considered a great, hes is not a very rounded fighter. Arlovski is clearly not the fighter he was, or imo MMA has grown past him so he looks faded but actually isn't too different. Silvia gives alot of guys problems but I doubt anyone would agree he was ever an elite fighter. As for Bret, hes horribly overated and should never be seen as a top 10-20 fighter. The best competition IS the UFC, why dispute that?

@Oldsmobility455 I base it off of Nick Diaz. He couldn't be champ in UFC, but now is champ and dominant champ in Strikeforce. I am sure he has gotten better from his UFC days. And I believe Cain and Shane have to good of wrestling to get thrown like Rogers. He seriously looked like a little kid getting bullied. But, there is no proof that UFC is better. This fight will go on until they have a title unification event for all Org's. That would be fun to watch.

@JAMBEANO56 I wouldn't be surprised if Overeem could dominate Carwin, Valasquez and the rest of the UFC heavyweights in similar fashion to Rogers. The only thing that leads people to believe UFC divisions are deeper is all the Zuffa hype. They plaster the names of B level fighters all over tv ads, and people think their whole organization is 'the best'. There's nothing to indicate the guys at the bottom of the UFC ranks could compete any better in Strikeforce, Dream or anywhere else.

@Oldsmobility455 Rogers caught an Arlovski who showed him no respect. Mistake, I know. I see the UFC as being far superior to any other org. They may not have THE best fighter in a each weight division (though you can make the argument they do), but their divisions are more talented as wholes. As soon as Rogers got thrown in with Fedor and Overeem, he got KO'd and manhandled.

@JAMBEANO56 Rogers beat Arlovski while striking, which is no small task now, or at any time in Arlovski's career. Valasquez hadn't beaten Nog until months after the Fedor Rogers fight, so at the time he only had beaten Kongo, which is no more a feat than Rogers defeating Arlovski. Carwin had just beaten Mir, which was impressive, but I'd hardly consider Gonzaga world class. None of those three was clearly more proven than the other, since they were all undefeated after similar competition.

@Oldsmobility455 Rogers beat Arlovski. That was the only top fighter he beat, and Arlovski isn't on top anymore. Carwin beat Mir and Gonzaga, Velasquez beat Nog and Kongo. While Carwin's and Velasquez's wins aren't extremely impressive, they are more proven.

When asshole dana white and the fertitta bitches stole pride, he left and M1 global was formed. M1 global is an MMA organization where they either co promote, or it aint happening. He's not ducking anyone, and hes been fighting top competition for years. But outside of the UFC, there are only so many fighters. He's proven enough.
